| Description: |
With a heavy heart we are considering rehoming our much loved pug 'Tucker'
He is 18 months old, vaccinated and microchipped, he is in excellent health and very friendly.
Unfortunately Tucker was born with a cleft palate, he was tube fed until he was 8 weeks old then started to eat normally. He now eats everything and drinks normally although he occasionally gets a snotty nose!
Our vet has confirmed he is in good health, he sailed through the anaesthetic and other than jumping up (a lot) he is reasonably well behaved.
We have his mum who is old and less active than him. Both my husband and I have complicated health conditions that mean poor Tucker isn't getting the time he needs for walks and cuddles. He is good with children (but jumps up) and doesn't seem bothered by cats. He barks at other dogs but is friendly, I think he's just excited.
He isn't KC registered but could be, we didn't see the point as he isn't suitable for breed or show.
We are happy for him to go to the right home, ideally a family with older children who won't be knocked over by him and can give him the attention and training he n email preferred for enquiries. |
