Smart 15.2 cob, bright bay with even white stockings. 9 years old, medium weight, started late so he is behind with his education. Has recently been professionally re-started. Is currently schooling well and working in a nice outline.
This young man would do well in show home with his expressive paces and presence. Equally would be suited to a hunting home. He is wasted with me, as I lack the time/facilities to take him any further, he really needs a job to do, to release his full potential.
Loads with a little encouragement! He travels very well, he is good to groom, and tack up, good with farrier and dentist. He is fine stabled and equally hardy . I have never had to clip him as he is not particularly hairy. No lumps, bumps, injuries or any known health issues. Worming, feet and teeth regularly attended to. His last saddle and back check .
He is not confident in traffic, we are regularly hacking out alone and in company and his confidence is growing. but for this reason he is not a novice ride. He takes a confident, able rider to guide and reassure him. I feel he would benefit from a home where road work is kept to a minimum.
I have not made the decision to sell lightly, but I can only offer a hacking home and it is clear that he needs more than this to keep him focused. Please no novices riders or time wasters, dealers. He is an incredibly nice horse to have around and will be greatly missed.
