Hero is a gorgeous light tan coloured Lurcher who is approx 4 yrs old. He’s a really special boy who has clearly been through a lot of tough times before arriving with us as a stray. He was emaciated and bears plenty of old scars on his face. Despite what he must have been through, he has been an absolute gentleman from the minute he arrived. He is so friendly and affectionate. Hero is great with other dogs, and would love to live with another similar breed dog (but is friendly with other breeds). He had a high prey drive and cannot live with cats/small furries! Hero is quite a big lad who can be strong when he wants to be (ie if he sees a squirrel!), so would ideally need a breed savvy home. He is VERY food orientated (understandably, as he had gone without food for a long time!), and will probably be a bin raider/counter surfer in the home. He’s fed in a slow feeder as he bolts his food back, but as he’s gaining weight and is having lots of regular feeds, he isn’t quite as desperate for his food as he was. He really is such a special boy who deserves a 5* home where he will want for nothing ever again. |
