| Description: | I am looking to give my dog up for adoption to a new home. His name is Alfie. He is an 11 months old Golden Labrador. My partner and I have had him since he was 11 weeks old. We have loved him and cared for him for over 9 months but recently it has become more harder to do so. Our jobs have made it hard to give him absolute 100% attention and we feel it is not fair on him to miss out on that. He became sick a while ago and we attempted to change our schedules to resolve this. Because of this setback we have become so worried for him and do not have the time to give him our watchful eye. As of this moment he is back to his normal self, 100% health but this lesson has told us that we are not able to take care of him and would prefer for him to go to a loving home where he will get all the love and attention he craves. Obviously this has not been an easy decision for us and you must understand that anymore who is willing to adopt him must take into account our desire to check and guarantee that he will go somewhere he is wanted and where he will be taken care of properly and we not settle for anything less. He gets along well with cats and other dogs. He has a very friendly, warm and happy temperament around them and with all people as well.
