We saved these two from a couple that were leaving the country not knowing the first thing about them. Since then we have doscovered they are not tame at all, but we fell in love with them and kept them. They have been good to have around but they desperatly need other birds to live with, not people. Male is called leelo, he will stand on my hand to get out of the cage but he is too interested in the female teteia, who can be very agressive towards him and me. They are beautiful birds, very rarely do I see a picture of budgies that look as beautiful as these two. Really we cant keep them any longer, we cant give them everything they need. We care about where they go, that's we cant just sell them to anyone. We'd much rather give them to the right person. |
