Our blessed girl Aphrodite is COMPLETELY DEAF. She is very good with humans but she needs to be adopted as a single cat as she simply can't relate to other cats. She can't hear herself meow and that's her problem! You would think the whole world is ending if you heard her from a distance. Nope, most likely she is chasing a butterfly and upset that it is not cooperating. Thankfully, this happens rarely. Though she is calm and gentle, we wouldn't recommend her for a family with children. She might get defensive if she is startled by accident. She needs a human who will understand her and love her the way she is. We told her her new human may even teach her kitty sign language!
