Ben is a lovely, gorgeous Jack Russell cross who is 2 years old, but still very much full of energy and life! He is sadly looking for a new home due to his previous owner becoming too ill to care for him. He is living in a home in the Barnsley area currently. Ben is very well behaved around the house - he is fully housetrained, sleeps well downstairs at night and is fine to be left for a few hours. He really enjoys his walks and walks fine on a harness when he gets going - he's fine off lead, but does run up to other dogs to say hello if given a chance! He gets on fine with other dogs out and about but doesn't like sharing food/toys round dogs, so probably would be happiest as an only dog or with a laid back female. His favourite game in the world is playing fetch with a tennis ball, or squeaky toy - he could play for hours! Ben is protective of his house when new people visit, and will bark at visitors, but if ignored, he settles down! Ben will need a home with no children, and no young visiting children. He is an affectionate little chap with the people he knows, and loves to have strokes and fuss on the sofa! He is in perfect health, so please don't be put off that he's a middle aged gent!
