Lottie is a larger than life character who is around 7MONTHS old, and is medium - large in size. She is an American Bulldog . Lottie is very loving with the people she knows and trusts, her whole body wags when she sees you, and she thinks she's a lapdog! She is very loyal and protective of her owner, and isn't keen on visitors coming into 'her' house. For this reason she will need a home who have experience of owning dogs, no children or regular visiting children. She is fine with strangers when she's out and about on walks/in the vets etc. Lottie is very well behaved in the house, she is fully housetrained... her main requirement is a nice comfy bed that she can snooze in, or ideally have her head resting on you at all times! Lottie can be a bit of a bull in a china shop when she has her giddy moments, but is generally quite laid back and just wants a quiet life. She can be quite strong on the lead, but we walk her on a halti headcollar and she walks perfectly with this. She isn't a high energy dog and would be happy with a couple of 20-30 min walks a day. She travels very well in the car. Lottie has lived with another dog before, but does need slow introductions to other dogs before she's used to them, and will not tolerate smaller dogs, or dogs having a go at her so we feel she needs to be the only pet in the home. She really will be a fantastic dog for the right owner. She has spent many months in kennels now, she is so sad and desperately deserves a second chance.
