Tia is a pure breed Balkan Pulin Dog, these dogs are primarily working dogs, but in the right homes they make very good pets. The work they do is the same as Border Collies, they are also kept as pets by many. Pulin dogs are highly intelligent dogs, they have a higher level of intelligence than Border Collies, they need to be mentally stimulated, give little jobs to do, it could be as simple as a treasure hunt in the garden, but they must must have good mental stimulation. They are very active dogs, they love to run, they love to play, Pulin's are quite vocal and love to talk to you. They require daily brushing to avoid matting, they are double coated long haired and should never be shorn at a groomers or by an owner. All in all these dogs are wonderful, very captivating, but it is imperative they are homed in the right homes, with the relevant experience for these kinds of breeds.
