Always phone ahead in an emergency.
Last checked: 31 October 2026
Short answer: we could confirm 3 vet clinics in Dubai that are open 24 hours: Modern Vet Hospital and Umm Suqeim Veterinary Centre (USVC), both on Al Wasl Road in Umm Suqeim, and DKC Veterinary Clinic in Motor City. Many other clinics advertise "24/7 emergency" care, but they close at night and run an emergency phone line instead. We list the two groups separately below, so you know whether you can drive straight there or need to call first.
How we checked: a clinic is listed as "open 24 hours" only when its own website says so and an independent source agrees. We re-read every clinic’s website on 31 October 2026. We did not phone the clinics, and hours can change, so call before you set off.
Vets open 24 hours in Dubai

Modern Vet Hospital (Al Wasl). The group’s hospital on Al Wasl Road says it is open all year round and takes emergency walk-ins. Modern Vet’s other branches (Downtown, JLT, JVC, Palm Jumeirah and Azizi Riviera) keep daytime hours, so at night go to the Al Wasl hospital, not your usual branch.
Umm Suqeim Veterinary Centre (USVC). Also on Al Wasl Road in Umm Suqeim. Its website says it is open 24 hours every day and asks owners to call ahead before bringing in an emergency.
DKC Veterinary Clinic. The vet clinic is part of DKC (Dubai Kennels & Cattery) in Motor City, which also runs boarding and pet relocation. When you call the main number, choose extension 1 for the clinic.
Clinics that say they offer 24/7 emergency care: call before you go
These clinics mention 24/7 emergency care on their websites, but their published opening hours are daytime only, and we could not confirm from a second source that they are open at night. Call first. Do not drive there at night without speaking to someone.

Emergency phone lines (clinic closed at night)
These clinics are closed overnight but publish a number for emergencies. Depending on the clinic, a vet may give advice on the phone, meet you at the clinic, or send you to another hospital. Ask which one when you call.

Which vet is open now in Dubai?
In the daytime, most Dubai clinics are open, closing between about 5pm and 11pm depending on the clinic, branch and day. Our list of vets in Dubai by area helps you find the nearest one.
After closing time, only the three clinics at the top of this page were confirmed as open 24 hours. Two are on Al Wasl Road in Umm Suqeim and one is in Motor City. If you live in Deira, Al Qusais or Mirdif, all three are a long drive away: phone while someone else drives, so the team is ready when you arrive.
Outside Dubai: we have not yet been able to confirm any clinic open 24 hours in Abu Dhabi or Sharjah from public sources. Separate guides for those emirates will follow.
Before you set off
- Call first. Say what kind of animal it is, its rough weight, what happened and when. The clinic can tell you whether to come in now and what to do on the way.
- Poisoning: bring the packet, plant or medicine your pet swallowed, or a photo of the label.
- Moving an injured pet: put cats and small pets in a carrier. Wrap a small dog in a towel. Carry a large dog on a blanket held at the corners, keeping its back as flat as you can.
- Do not give human painkillers. Some common ones are poisonous to cats and dogs.
- Heatstroke in summer: move your pet into shade or air conditioning, wet its coat with cool (not ice-cold) water, and call a vet while you drive.
- Bring your pet’s vaccination card and any medicines it takes.
- Ask about cost on the phone. None of the Dubai clinic price lists we read shows an out-of-hours fee, so ask what the first visit will cost and whether a deposit is needed.
Save these numbers now

How we keep this list up to date
We re-check every clinic on this page every 60 days. A clinic that stops saying it is open 24 hours on its own website moves to the right section or is removed. If you run a clinic listed here, or you have found that details have changed, tell us and we will check again.
