affenpinscher puppies for sale

The Affenpinscher is a small, sturdy terrier-like dog, usually 3 to 6 kg, with a comical, monkey-like face. It is bold, curious and loyal, and it makes an alert watchdog that may bark at visitors. Affenpinschers can be stubborn, and their confidence suits older children better than toddlers. They are rare, so be ready to wait for the right puppy.

The wiry coat sheds very little but needs regular brushing and a groomer’s trim every few months. Because of the short muzzle, take heat seriously. In the UAE, walk early or late, keep the dog in air conditioning during the day and never leave it in a car. They suit apartments and need only modest exercise. For breathing, kneecaps and teeth, ask your vet.

See the puppy in person (and its mother, if you buy from a breeder) and check the vaccination card and microchip number. Your dog should be microchipped, have its rabies and core vaccinations and be registered with your municipality or emirate. A dog brought from abroad needs an import permit and health certificate, so check the current rules with MOCCAE or your municipality. Only a few are advertised at any time. On AnimalMarket24, prices vary a lot, so compare a few ads before you decide. Adoption is also an option, and adoption fees should be modest.
