Mini Rex

The Mini Rex is a small rabbit of about 1.5 to 2 kg, best known for its short, plush coat that feels like velvet. Mini Rex rabbits are usually calm, friendly and easy to handle, which makes them a good choice for families with older children. They come in many colours, including black, castor, broken and blue, and live around 8 to 10 years.

Like all rabbits, a Mini Rex needs a diet made mostly of unlimited hay, plus fresh greens and a small amount of pellets. Give plenty of space to run every day and a companion rabbit if you can, because rabbits are social. Rabbits overheat easily, so in the UAE keep them indoors in air conditioning, never in the sun or a hot garden in summer.

When you buy, check for clear eyes, a clean nose and bottom, and front teeth that meet evenly. Ask your vet about vaccinations and neutering. Selling Mini Rex rabbits in the UAE? Post a free ad on AnimalMarket24 with photos, the age and the sex of each rabbit.
